« Pluri-elles (Manitoba) inc provides services on lands stolen from the Anishinaabeg, Anishininewuk, Nehethowuk/Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota Oyate, and Dene peoples, and on the homeland and heartland of the Red River Métis Nation.
Here, we are on the land of the people of Treaty #1, we drink the waters of Shoal Lake (Treaty #3), and we use hydroelectric power that originates from the waters of Treaty #5. We are all treaty people; as such, we recognize that meaningful change begins with individual responsibility.
We are committed to listening, collaborating, and taking concrete action to build a more equitable, respectful, and inclusive future by questioning and critiquing the structures and practices that perpetuate the inequalities experienced by Indigenous Peoples in Manitoba, while actively contributing to reconciliation.
