Pluri-elles is a Francophone nonprofit organization founded in Saint-Boniface in 1982 by women and for women.

Our mission? To help you grow personally and professionally through tailored support tools.

We are proud to serve women, men, Métis and immigrant families, as well as young people of all ages from Manitoba’s Francophone community.

Our services are free and confidential. We offer a range of support services covering everything from employment and health to education and social services.

No matter where you are in Manitoba, whether in Saint-Boniface or in a rural area, Pluri-elles is here to support you in your own language and culture.

Timeline of Pluri-elles' History

1981

The concept of Pluri-elles emerged during a conference organized by the Fédération des femmes canadiennes-françaises in Saskatchewan. Six women then formed the first provisional committee of the Regroupement des Femmes Franco-manitobaines.

1982

The Association of Franco-Manitoban Women has officially become Pluri-elles, with 32 members and its first executive committee.

1986

Pluri-elles become PLURI-ELLES (MANITOBA) INC.

1989

Grand opening of the new offices on Goulet Street.

1994

Relocation of the Pluri-elles offices on Langevin Street.

1996

Pluri-elles has been recognized as a charitable (nonprofit) organization and has received its charity registration number.

1999

The Pluri-elles offices are moving to 570 Des Meurons Street.

2003

Pluri-elles is the first Francophone group to offer a ceremony for immigrants who have obtained citizenship.

May 1st, 2023

A major conference is being held during the AGM, along with a performance to celebrate Pluri-elles’ 20th anniversary. A CD, featuring music by women artists from the community, is being released for the event.

2009

Establishment of an endowment fund with Francofonds  (Pluri-elles - Mon rêve - Monique Ducharme)

2012

Pluri-elles 30th Anniversary Celebration

2014

Pluri-elles has moved into its new location at 420 Des Meurons Street, Unit 114. More than 150 people attended the official opening on December 11.

2018

Pluri-elles is expanding its facilities to meet the needs of its customers.
