The Voix de femmes theater workshop is a unique initiative in Winnipeg dedicated to the personal, linguistic, and cultural development of Francophone women in Manitoba, particularly newcomers and those looking to re-enter the job market. In partnership with Théâtre Cercle Molière, this series of interactive workshops uses theater techniques (breathing, diction, body language, role-playing, and improvisation) to help you speak with confidence in a supportive and dynamic environment.
The purpose of this workshop
To offer a safe and stimulating space for Francophone women to improve their oral fluency in French, build their self-confidence, and foster their social and professional integration within the Manitoban community.
What are the main objectives of this workshop
Develop oral fluency in French: Refine your diction, posture, and public speaking skills for everyday conversations as well as job interviews or professional meetings.
Build self-confidence: Overcome shyness and fully express your potential through stage performance and improvisation.
Promote social and professional integration: Actively participate in the Francophone community and cultural life of Winnipeg and Manitoba.
Create a collective artistic performance: Co-create a stage presentation and take part in an empowering public performance on stage at Théâtre Cercle Molière.
