The purpose of this workshop

To raise participants’ awareness of the reality of domestic violence by helping them understand the cycle of violence, recognize associated behaviors, and develop strategies to prevent, intervene, and support those affected.

Understanding the cycle of violence and the various forms of domestic violence.
Recognize the signs and behaviors associated with situations of violence.
Understanding the impacts of domestic violence on individuals, families, and the community.
Identify strategies to prevent violence and promote respectful and safe relationships.
Learn about the resources and steps you can take to support someone experiencing violence.
