This comprehensive 8-week program is followed by a paid internship to help you build your first professional network.

Relaunch your career while strengthening your English language skills and essential competencies in this 12-week program, followed by a paid internship.

  • Perfect for: people with a beginner’s level of English who are looking for a gradual transition into a job in the manufacturing sector (production or warehouse work) or the hospitality industry (customer service, food service, hospitality, or early childhood education).
  • What’s on: language classes, budgeting workshops, computer skills workshops, job preparation workshops, and a paid internship lasting 8 to 12 weeks.
  • Eligibility: permanent residents, refugees & asylum seekers.
  • The little extra: transportation assistance is available to help you attend.

A stepping stone for young people (ages 15–30) 

A program that takes place in a supportive environment, designed to help participants regain confidence and begin their journey toward independence.

  • Perfect for: young people who are neither in school nor employed and who wish to re-enter the workforce or return to school.
  • What’s on: English classes, personal development, hands-on workshops (e.g., cooking), and a paid internship lasting 8 to 12 weeks.
  • The little extra: transportation and child care assistance are provided, and financial assistance is available for those returning to school.
  • Eligibility: Canadians, permanent residents & refugees.

  • What’s on: skills assessment, digital literacy, artificial intelligence, and intergenerational mentoring.
  • The strength of the group: communities of practice to share challenges and build resilience among peers.
  • Eligibility: Aged 50 and older, Canadians, permanent residents & refugees.
